Who do you call when you want some pepperoni? JITSU SQUAD featuring SAMURAI PIZZA CATS brings the popular cartoon characters into an insane beat’em up with art by the anime character designer, Noritaka Suzuki, and the original Speedy/Yattarou voice actor, Kappei Yamaguchi, reprising his role!
Fight it out with style! Pulverize all who oppose you with special moves and launch them to oblivion. Summon other Samurai Pizza Cats members to help you! Pick up weapons and find friends along the journey in your quest to defeat the sinister sorcerer, Origami. Utilize counters to defend against the enemy barrage and open them for a massive combo. Grab enemies and toss them into each other to control the crowd. Transform into fury mode and unleash your power upon anyone in your way. When the going gets tough, use a super move to knock out everyone around you.

In 1996, civil war has broken out in Japan. CAVE returns to arcades with DODONPACHI TRUE DEATH EXA LABEL (known as SAIDAIOUJOU or SDOJ in Japan) , the critically acclaimed version of the final DODONPACHI installment is here! Original staff members return with IKD as project supervisor, Manabu Namiki as sound advisor and character designer Nagi Ryo combine forces with exA-Arcadia to bring players the ultimate TRUE DEATH package and first EXA LABEL series release. Experience 4K visuals and information gadgets in both vertical and horizontal screen orientations, all audio including the original and arranged soundtracks have been remastered in stereo HD quality and is localized into English for the first time.
Choose from 4 different ships including the newly added Type D – Saya in their mission to take down a rogue element doll bent on exterminating humanity. Each ship features 3 play styles in the Original Mode which has been faithfully recreated fixing bugs in the original release that can be toggled on/off as well as improving overall gameplay directed by super player Peke. In addition to the improved original mode, 3 additional game modes are available for the first time in arcades. EXA LABEL mode remixes the difficult original into a more balanced game focused on hyper management and bullet canceling. Continuing the tradition set by the first EXA LABEL release, CRIMSON KATANA EXA LABEL is the definitive version of CAVE’s 2 player horizontal shooting masterpiece AKAI KATANA.
Set in a parallel world resembling Japan’s Taisho period, people have discovered the power of Crimson Katanas. Requiring human sacrifices to unleash their immense destructive power, these weapons have been used by the empire to crush neighboring countries. However, all of the bloodshed and power gained through sacrificing close family members has made some of the warriors reconsider their usage. With new fighter planes and the powered up katanas at their disposal, this small band of rebels now fight back against the tyrannical empire.
Supervised by IKD working with exA-Arcadia, the game is now equipped with 4K visuals, play the Original mode in 4:3 and the other game modes in 16:9 widescreen. Audio has been remastered in stereo HD for not only the Original and Arranged soundtracks created by the legendary Ryu Umemoto but also for the first time, the FM Arranged Soundtrack initially created by Umemoto and completed posthumously by Keishi Yonao is exclusively available in this release. Utilizing new exA-Arcadia tech, 1 frame input lag provides the most responsive feel of any version of the game to date with 5 times the response speed of the Nesica version and double the speed of the original CV1000 JAMMA board.
In addition to a more accurate rendition of the arcade Original mode fixing unintended design & performance issues and bugs in the original release, additional game modes are available for the first time in arcades. Climax (Zetsu) Mode is the director’s cut of the arcade original now with the TLB added and Slash (Shin) Mode adds a brand new stage and new game mechanics. EXA LABEL combines the best aspects of all modes for a whole new game geared towards players of all levels only on exA-Arcadia. The all new Extreme difficulty selectable in each mode provides a 2nd loop difficulty in any game mode for veteran players selectable from the start. Each mode can be now played with up to 2 players simultaneously only on exA-Arcadia.
