EMS Suspends Shipping to 155 Countries
TOKYO, JAPAN – April 2, 2020 – Due to the global COVID-19 (Coronavirus) pandemic, beginning from April 2, 2020, EMS has temporarily suspended mail operations to 155 countries.
Please note that any exA-Arcadia Shop orders to these countries will be held at our Japan fulfillment center until EMS resumes shipping to the destination country. For new orders, as an alternative, DHL can be used for urgent orders. Do check this list from Japan Post to see if your country is on it before placing an order or if you have questions about an existing order, please send a request via our support form.
exA-Arcadia Event Cancellations Due to COVID-19
TOKYO, JAPAN – March 31, 2020 – Due to the global COVID-19 (Coronavirus) pandemic, exA-Arcadia has no choice but to make the necessary decision to cancel the EXA Festival originally scheduled for May 9-10, 2020, in Tokyo, Japan as well as appearances at the following events (MGC – Midwest Gaming Classic, CAX – California Arcade Extreme, EVO, and GTI).
Protecting the health, safety, and well-being of our staff, attendees, and our customers is paramount, and serves as the reason for our decision to cancel the EXA Festival as well as other event showings. Location tests for new titles will only proceed based upon regional government guidance and will be announced accordingly.
Our team has been meeting daily, actively monitoring the situation and following guidance from the World Health Organization and the Centers for Disease Control. On March 11, 2020, for example, the World Health Organization elevated the status of the novel coronavirus outbreak to a pandemic, and the United States President announced the US government’s decision to restrict travel from several countries. In Japan, further restrictions on inbound travel as well as tightening guidance on public gatherings is forthcoming from the local government.
We have been in constant contact with our creative and event partners who have worked tirelessly to organize the logistics for these events including preparing dozens of games for announcement and first public playables. We want to thank all of them for their incredible work and leadership during this difficult time.

TOKYO, JAPAN – March 19, 2020 – CAVE’s DODONPACHI SAIDAIOUJOU EXA LABEL comes exclusively to exA-Arcadia.
Licensed by and developed in association with the legendary shooting game developers at CAVE, DODONPACHI SAIDAIOUJOU EXA LABEL is the 1st release of this new partnership and marks the arcade return of this series after an 8 year hiatus from the original game’s release. TOKYO, JAPAN – March 1, 2020 – Amusement Journal, the leading arcade industry publication in Japan, reports that exA-Arcadia is ranked Top 3 in Japanese Operator Revenue for 3 months in a row.
Since the release of the exA-Arcadia platform in November 2019, Aka & Blue Type-R, the original shooting game from Tanoshimasu, has blazed through the national arcade income rankings as researched by Amusement Journal.
